PLEASE NOTE: The Micah and Mondura herds have not come yet. Four active and good members of Arai Valley that are Neutrals will be the founders, kings and queens of them both. Staff will judge among themselves and choose. NOT you.
Her name was Draega. They told legends of her. They said she was once a great Light mare, whose noble deeds were so courageous that she was queen of a large settlement. Her deeds earnt her this respect, and this position. Then she was corrupted by a stallion. His name was Conquest. He was a palomino paint stallion, with piercing blue eyes and a thick nearly-black mane and tail that glistened in the noonday sun. He, too, was in many legends. But they told him as a dark soul with no mercy. And his darkness corrupted Draega.
She was in love but wished she was not, for whenever she thought or was around Conquest she did things differently. Worsely. And soon he had changed her entire life until her very subjects trembled before her. Draega made Conquest king, and the pair became too terrible and too hard to overcome by their subjects. And soon the very horses they ruled ran from them.
Draega and Conquest decided to move on. They wanted a different home, a more protected home. They left Rhoda Isle and swam across a sea of many leagues. It was then they found the valley. It had been found by no one but they and their foals Albatross, Mariush, and Remus. They began a kingdom there, of which they called Arai Valley. It was a peaceful time of old when magnificent fire-breathers still roamed the midnight sky to protect their home at all costs.
But Remus was a traitor to them, and he ran away from Arai to roam the island. He found lone mares and claimed them as his own. He returned to Arai Valley with six mares and forced Draega and Conquest to divide the valley into two. Remus became the lead stallion of Loria, the Light herd. His mate was Estel, a spirited palomino mare, and together they created a herd of their own.
Draega and Conquest were not pleased with their son. Fearing that Albatross and Mariush were going to grow stronger than ever and take over their Dark kingdom Rannok, the mates let their two other foals go. Mariush journeyed to her brother Remus's part, yet found Loria quite disheartening, and thus began her own kingdom, Arken. It was fair and beautiful, a forest of much light and wonder. The already growing population at Loria faded. Over half of the Lorians abandoned Remus and went to Mariush's land Arken.
Albatross begged to stay with his mother and father, but Conquest distrusted him. He told his son that he may stay at the Darker side of the valley, yet must begin a kingdom of his own. He obeyed, for he would do anything to stay true to the Dark Side. And thus began the land of Lesloth. It was a bog, to be precise, and it was dark and full of thornbushes that pierced an unwanted stranger if he dared to enter. Rannok had dwindled to only Conquest and Draega. Most of the Dark Ones left Rannok for Lesloth as the Lights had left Loria for Arken. Draega and her mate were desperate to get back their herd. They advanced upon Remus's and Estel's land Loria, seeking to get more land for Rannok so that the Lesloths would come back to the original Dark kingdom.
Yet the Lesloths did not stand for the idea, not even Albatross himself, the son of Conquest and Draega. He began to commence attack upon Rannok only to be attacked by Arken. A war is brewing. A war between the Lights and the Lighter, the Darks and the Darker. Whose side are you on? If you will not fight for your alliance, no one will.
